High Pressure Steam Jet Mill QAB Series | Top China Suppliers & Factory for Advanced Particle Size Reduction

The QAB series high-pressure steam jet mill is an advanced solution designed by leading suppliers and manufacturers in China. This innovative equipment utilizes high temperature and high pressure superheated steam to accelerate particles through a coaxial nozzle, leading to effective collision and crushing. The finely crushed materials are expertly classified by an integrated classifier, ensuring that only high-quality powders are collected by the efficient collection system at the rear. Any unqualified materials are seamlessly returned to the pulverizer for further processing, guaranteeing optimal results for your production needs. Trust our factory to provide top-tier technology for your milling requirements

    Working Principle

QAB series high pressure steam jet mill uses high temperature and high pressure superheated steam to accelerate particles through the coaxial nozzle and collide and crush them. The crushed materials are classified by the classifier, and qualified powders are collected by the collection system at the back, and unqualified materials are returned to the pulverizer for further crushing. The steam of the entire system is kept in an overheated state, and the production is carried out under the full dry method.

    Equipment Characteristics

    • It can make full use of the steam generated by the existing waste heat or the back-pressure steam after low-temperature power generation as power, which can effectively reduce the cost of powder processing.
    • If the existing steam is evacuated before it is actually used, after using steam power mill, the cost of powder processing will be only 1/5-1/8 of the cost of air flow mill processing.
    • Energy-saving advantages. Where conditions permit, using low-grade energy is far more energy-saving than using high-grade energy.
    • Comparison of crushing intensity: The design linear speed of conventional airflow mill is 400m/s~600m/s, while the crushing intensity of steam mill can reach 1000m/s.
    • Make full use of waste heat, comply with the current requirements of the country's vigorously promoting energy conservation and emission reduction policies, and easily obtain the support of government science and technology funds and national science and technology awards.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is the working principle of the QAB series steam jet mill?

The QAB series utilizes high-temperature and high-pressure superheated steam as the kinetic medium. It accelerates particles through a coaxial nozzle to collide and crush them in a fully dry process. The built-in classifier separates qualified powders, while unqualified particles are returned for further milling.

Q2: How does the system achieve such high energy efficiency and low processing costs?

By utilizing existing waste heat or low-temperature back-pressure steam, it turns low-grade energy into valuable processing power. When using steam that would otherwise be evacuated, the processing cost is reduced to only 1/5 to 1/8 of traditional air jet milling.

Q3: How does the crushing intensity compare to conventional airflow mills?

Conventional airflow mills operate at a design linear speed of 400m/s to 600m/s. In contrast, the QAB steam jet mill can reach a crushing intensity of up to 1000m/s, providing significantly greater impact force for ultra-fine processing.

Q4: What materials are suitable for processing with the QAB series?

It is highly effective for milling materials such as aluminum hydroxide, silicon dioxide, fly ash, silicon carbide, and titanium dioxide, achieving particle sizes down to the nanometer level.

Q5: What are the capacity and steam consumption rates of different models?

    The QAB300 consumes 300 kg/h steam for a capacity of 20-50 kg/h; the QAB600 consumes 600 kg/h steam for 50-80 kg/h; and the QAB1000 consumes 1000 kg/h steam for 100-200 kg/h. All models consistently yield particle sizes of 0.5-1 μm.
